Of late our local newspapers have been awash with articles on the need to engage children in the learning of the Chinese language. Needless to say, it is critical for our children to master Chinese because of the growing importance of China in the years ahead. However, children tend to neglect the language as they grow older and especially if they are not engaged from a young age.
Hence we are pleased to offer a learning tool, consisting of an elephant-shaped reading device and specially encrypted storybooks.
The reading device is specially developed with children in mind, because it is visually attractive, comes in three bright colours (yellow, green, blue), and is ergonomically manufactured for children’s hands in the shape of a round elephant. When the device is pointed to encrypted texts and pictures in the storybooks, it reads the passages that it is programmed with. The storybooks are brightly coloured and visually attractive to children. The stories are interesting and contain important moral lessons.

These books are encrypted with catchy tunes that are fun and easy to sing-along. Children will enjoy listening to and singing the songs. Singing will enable them to learn Chinese even more quickly, while the fun factor will motivate them to learn the language. Each story teaches the pupils a moral lesson, hence children also learn an important value while learning to read and speak the language.
